Here’s what’s new:
- Lower Income Threshold for Foreign Employers
The required income for foreign employers of LTR Visa applicants has been slashed from USD 150 million to USD 50 million over three years. This paves the way for more remote workers and tech professionals to relocate to Thailand.
- No More Personal Income Requirement for Wealthy Individuals
Applicants no longer need to meet the previous income threshold of USD 80,000 per year for two consecutive years. Instead, meeting investment criteria and demonstrating financial stability is now enough to qualify.
- Unlimited Dependent Coverage
The cap of four dependents for LTR Visa holders has been removed. Families can now include spouses, parents, children, and dependents without restriction, making Thailand a truly family-friendly destination.
